I’ve never trained Jiu-Jitsu. Can I start as a complete beginner?

Yes! Our classes are designed to welcome beginners of all ages and fitness levels. We have beginner-friendly classes with close guidance from our instructors.

Starting at age 4. Our Kids classes are fun, safe, and help children build discipline, coordination, and confidence.

No. We provide a gi for your trial class at no cost. After that, you can purchase your own uniform with us or from recommended stores.

Absolutely! We have female students of all ages and levels, and our environment is respectful and welcoming. We also host women-focused training and events.

We offer classes Monday through Saturday, with separate times for kids, adults, and beginners. Check the full schedule here or contact us for the latest version.

Definitely. Jiu-Jitsu is adaptable to each individual, and many students use it to improve fitness, health, and confidence.

Classes last around 1 hour and include warm-up, technical instruction, and supervised sparring (rolling).

Competing is completely optional. Our focus is on learning, personal growth, and well-being, but we support those who wish to compete.

lupe

Coach Lupe has been training Jiu Jitsu for seven years and holds a purple belt. She is passionate about teaching kids of all ages, including children with disabilities, and has brought martial arts programs to public schools and foster homes.

In 2017, she launched a martial arts fitness program for women, earning recognition from LA County Supervisor Hilda Solis for her community service. Certified in CPR and concussion training, Coach Lupe is dedicated to helping students build confidence, discipline, and self-control through martial arts.

Josh

Coach Josh began training Jiu-Jitsu in 2012 at just 10 years old at Gracie Barra Pasadena, initially for self-defense but quickly developing a passion for training and competing.

As a coach, he finds fulfillment in sharing his knowledge and seeing his students succeed. His coaching style emphasizes attention to detail, hard work, and an open-minded approach to techniques—if it works, use it; if it doesn’t, adapt it.

Kaori

Professor Kaori Hernandez began her Jiu-Jitsu journey at just 11 years old and has grown into a dedicated first-degree black belt with a deep passion for the art. As one of the few girls training and competing in Jiu-Jitsu during her youth, she understands the challenges of breaking barriers in the sport. Now, with numerous prestigious titles, including Worlds, Pans, Europeans, and American Nationals, Professor Kaori is committed to sharing Jiu-Jitsu with the next generation of students.

She strives to create an inclusive and inspiring environment for all, empowering young athletes—especially girls—to embrace the sport, push boundaries, and grow both on and off the mats.

Anthony

Coach Anthony is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Blue Belt and Karate Black Belt who has been training in martial arts since the age of 9. Starting with Karate to build confidence, discipline, and self-defense skills, he earned his Black Belt before pursuing

Jiu-Jitsu in 2022 under the guidance of Professor Kaori. Passionate about personal growth and inspiring others, Coach Anthony enjoys teaching kids, focusing on building their confidence, discipline, and technical skills in a supportive environment. His coaching style emphasizes patience, adaptability, and helping students grow both as martial artists and individuals.

Danny

Coach Danny started boxing at 10 at the Boys and Girls Club in Baldwin Park before transitioning to Kempo Karate at 16, which led to MMA and Muay Thai with a 15-year MMA career. He began BJJ in 2007 under 10th Planet, spent 13 years with GB, and has been a brown belt since 2018.

Now proudly part of the Logic Jiu Jitsu team, Coach Danny is passionate about sharing his knowledge, teaching humility, and fostering respect in his students.
